Well, 2008 is finally here. Went to town and watched thirty minutes worth of fireworks...was pretty cool. However, it was sad too. Not just for me, but my mom as well. Things aren't the same with my dad being gone...he passed away in November for those of you who don't know. Nothings the same with him gone...but, time heals all wounds, I suppose. It's become easier. Money is still a problem around here, but as for the emotional part, things are better.

New Year's Day though...I really don't like it. I won't say why, because it's rather personal to me. I just wish I could get over what happened a year ago and move on. It's sad that I'm STILL lingering on it after a whole year. I guess I keep thinking about how everyone kisses someone on New Years, or has someone to hug up to when it happens. It just sucks not having somebody that close around.

Sorry for being emotional. It helps for me to get it off my chest this way. I know it sort of looks like a desperate plea for attention (which, it kinda is), but yeah.

Gonna try and look for another part time job tomorrow (or today, depending on how you look at it). Gonna head to Wal-Mart first to see if I can work my library job with it. Hopefully, Wal-Mart offers part time jobs, which I think they would. If that doesn't work out, I'll have to try the military fort nearby. I'm pretty sure I could get a job there.
